"Homeopathy to keep drug menace at bay"

Regional Research Institute (Homeopathy) Imphal in association with Central Council for Research in Homeopathy, New Delhi (an autonomous body under the Ministry of AYUSH, Gol) organised a National Continuing Medical Education programme on 'Substance Abuse, De-addiction & Rehabilitation' at Hotel Classic today.
SAC of NE State Unit, Central Council for Research in Homeopathy Imphal Chairman Dr Moirangthem Nara, Additional Director, AYUSH Department Dr M Shyamjai, Research Officer, Central Council for Research in Homeopathy, New Delhi Dr Varanasi Roja and Regional Research Institute (Homeopathy) Imphal officer i/c Amit Srivastava attended as dais members.
Addressing the people, Dr Moirangthem Nara stated that the two days event aims to enlighten the masses on how Homeopathy can keep drug abuse at bay or how it can help fight in substance abuse, de-addiction or rehabilitation.
Maintaining that there are numerous homeopaths or homeopathic doctors in the State, Dr Nara stated that they can take advantage of the programme by interacting with experts and professional.
Moreover, he continued, they can utilise the knowledge into action and find out how Homeopathy can prevent or be a solution in drug menace, which has been rising rapidly all over the globe.
Dr Nara appealed the trainees to gather all the valuable knowledge from the programme.
