11 AR nabs two NSCN-IM cadres

Tamenglong, April 15 2011:
THE 11 Assam Rifles under the Red Shield Division nabbed two NSCN-IM cadres along with their weapons at Millennium Hotel, in the heart of Tamenglong HQs on the night of 13 April and handed them over to Imphal Police Station.
The two cadres were identified as 'Private' MG Sappa (21) son of MG Pungdi of Lairou village, Senapati District and 'Private' Lungthaodai (19) son of Ajit of Awangkhul Village of Tamenglong district.
The cadres worked under the NSCN-IM's Tamenglong Town Commander.
A source from NSCN-IM also confirmed that the AR has arrested two of its cadres breaking the ceasefire ground rules.
The source also strongly condemned the 11 Assam Rifles for continuous frisking.
The source also warned that not respecting or dishonouring the ceasefire ground rules may be bad for both Indian security forces and NSCN/GPRN.
The 11 AR source claimed that on specify information of NSCN-IM presence the 11 AR launched an operation in which two cadres along with one 9 mm pistol and carbine and some incriminating documents were recovered and that they were handed over to Imphal PS.
The source also said that it will continue to arrest NSCN-IM cadres involved in wrong doings.
