State Museum staffs, 2nd driver injured in mishap

Jiribam, October 10 2014 :
Four staffs of Manipur State Museum, who were going to Jiribam in connection with a mobile exhibition tomorrow, and the second driver were injured when the Tata Sumo they were travelling in collided with a Tata tipper engaged for railway line construction, at a spot between Keimai and Oinamlong in Tamenglong district at around 3 pm this afternoon.
The injured have been identified as Sadana Devi (42), w/o H Boby Singh of Palace Compound, Murphy (31), s/o Indrajit Singh of Tera, Meiteileima, w/o Amutomba Singh of Keishamthong, K.Baby (52) of Tera and the second driver Ratan of Pheiyeng.
According to reports, the condition of Murphy is stated to be serious.
They were travelling to Jiribam to participate at the Mobile Exhibition of Museum Objects & Photographs of Monuments of Manipur that is being organized by the Manipur State Museum and State Archaeology, Department of Art and Culture, at Jiribam Govt Higher Secondary School.
