As a sign of goodwill gesture in their strive for peace, reconciliation and unity, the GPRN/NSCN or NSCN-K has released five Naga National Council (Non-Accordist) activists after signing a bond agreement in presence of media persons, NGOs and family members at Khehoi designated camp under Dimapur district on Thursday.
The five are Avika, s/o Xushepu of Sapotimi village, Zunhebto; Abel, s/o Hutozhe of Viyixe village, Zunheboto, Tokuho, s/o Heshito of Satakha, Zunheboto, Nitoyi, s/o Ghoito of Viyixe village, Zunheboto and Kheghoto, s/o Ikuto of Sema Settsu village, Zunheboto.
They were reportedly apprehended by the GPRN/NSCN on April 30 from Dimapur and detained in the custody of the outfit.
They were planning to form a third anti national party under the name and style Naga National Council (Non-Accordist).
All the accused were made to sign a bond agreement in presence of witnesses and warned them not to repeat such mistakes, adding that GPRN/NSCN (NSCN-K) will initiate stringent actions if they commit the same offence.
One pistol and one grenade besides NNC's writing pad, identity cards, rubber stamp and round seals had been recovered from their possession.
