The ceiling of ration money of the personnel of the jail and fire service personnel is likely from the existing Rs 450 per month head to Rs 485 as proposed by the state home department.
The agenda for hiking the ration money is among other agendas like payment of ex-gratia and relief to the next of kin of the victims of the Tamenglong bus accident tragedy and creation of SDO/BDO offices of Willing and Phaibung Khullen in Senapati district will be discussed in the cabinet meeting to be held at CM Bungalow tomorrow evening at 4 pm, an official source said today.
The cabinet under the chair of the chief minister, O Ibobi will also discuss on the state equity participation in the in the state government joint venture for Tipaimukh Hydro-electricity project proposed by the state power department.
Power department is proposing state share of 5% equity in the project.
The cabinet will discuss on the payment of ex-gratia to the next of kin of the victims of Tamenglong-Imphal bus accident on May 7 at near Sangrungpang 20 kms from Tamenglong district headquarter proposed by the state home department.
As many as 11 people including minor child died and injured to around 40 passengers.
It will also discuss on the opening of two more SDO/BDO offices in Tamenglong's Willong and Phaibung Khullen proposed by the state revenue department.
Other agendas are mostly related with the engagement of staffs on contact basis for various government offices etc.
like engagement of guest lecturers in the Patregrew College, Ukhrul, engagement of staffs of Rajya Zilla Sainik board on contract basis, contact engagement of key-staffs for the district mental helath programme in Thoubal and Imphal west districts under the Naitonal Mental Health programme, a 100 percent centre sponsored scheme.
Relaxation of ban on direct recruitment of Assembly secretariat, filling up of eight vacant posts in the Governor's secretariat on direct recruitment by relaxing the present ban on direct recruitment, creation of supplementary posts of DPC for filling up of 13 posts in the family welfare department, engagement of advocates for cases in the Guwahati High Court on contact basis will also discuss in the schedule cabinet meeting the source added.
