KPV's notice-cum-warning 'creates tension' in Chakpikarong

Residents of Chakpikarong area of Chandel district on Friday demanded Kankhu Phetha Volunteers (KPV) to clarify on recent alleged threats posed by them to individuals, politicians, social leaders and communities of the area.
Regarding the alleged threat to individuals, politicians, social leaders and communities of the area of attacking with bombs in a notice-cum-warning by KPV recently, people of Chakpikarong convened a meeting today at Chakpikarong Bazar under the aegis of Anal Naga Tangpi (ANTA) .
The meeting after thoroughly deliberating on the prevailing tensions in the area resolved to demand the KPV to come out in the open with substantiating evidence to support the allegations hurled by them at individuals, politicians, social leaders and communities of the area.
The public meeting further resolved to condemn the notice-cum-warning allegedly circulated by members of the KPV in the strongest term.
Talking to reporters on the sideline- of the meeting, ANTA president Phamling Sengul said that the public meeting was convened noting the seriousness of the pamphlets circulated in the area.
In the contents of the pamphlet, they have 'assassinated' characters and made allegations on Chief Minister N Biren Singh, politicians like Olish, and all the Anal organization like ANTA, ALCA, ALT, Sinnu Ruwl, Pastor Reverend etc, he mentioned and cautioned that such actions will bring nothing good.
Those miscreants should come out to the dialogue table before the situation gets worse, he said.
