AAMSU for justice to Kumut Ali

All Assam Minority Students' Union (AAMSU), Udalpuri District has urged the Government of Manipur to find the culprits behind the merciless killing of truck driver Kumut Ali, who was found dead along the bank of Imphal River at Motbung, after he was reportedly abducted from MM Hotel in Sekmai by three unknown persons and also to track the truck which had been taken away by the abductors.
Addressing media persons at the office of the Driver's Union at MG Avenue here today, Khurshi Alam, President of ASMSU, said that the State Government of Manipur should bring out the culprits involved in the heinous crime at the earliest possible and also track down the truck carrying goods worth lakhs of rupees.
Narendra Talikhdar, General Secretary of All Assam Goods Carrier Truck Drivers and Handyman Union, who was also present during the press conference, informed that a memorandum in this regard would be submitted to the DGP of Manipur, SP of Imphal West and the OC of Sekmai Police Station through the Drivers Union Manipur tomorrow.
Secretary of All Manipur Road Transport Driver and Motor Workers Union, H Kulamani was also present during the press conference.
