Free medical camp held

As a part of the Civic Action Programme 2020-21 under CRPF Manipur & Nagaland Sector, a one day free medical camp camp was organised by the 32 Bn CRPF Loktak at Ithai Wapokpi Ima Phadibi Community hall, Wangoo Gram Panchayat ward number 1 Ithai Wapokpi in Bishnupur district today.
The camp was organised under the supervision of 32 Bn CRPF CO, H Ranjit Singh, along with 32 Bn CRPF 2ic, VK Singh; Deputy Commandant, S Seikhohen Haokip and in collaboration with CMO Bishnupur.
During the camp, the medical team led by 32 Bn CRPF Unit Hospital, Medical Officer, Dr Esther Khundongbam consisting of Thanga PHC MO, Dr Alex Rajkumar and Dr Azimpu Pamei provided free medical treatment to about 200 villagers of Ithai Wapokpi.
Later, an awareness" programme was also conducted as a part of the free medical camp.
It was attended by Wangoo Borayangbi Zilla Parishad member, Moirangmayum Brojen and Ward number 1 member, K Sharat Singh.
Addressing the gathering, M Brojen lauded the CRPF for organising such medical camps for the welfare of the people and appealed to the CO of the Battalion to conduct more camps in the future to help the poor people of the area.
