TKYC organises career guidance programme

Kangpokpi, June 10 2018:
Taphou Kuki Youth Club (TKYC) organised a one day seminar and career guidance programme at Taphou Kuki village in Kangpokpi district yesterday.
The career guidance programme was organised with an aim to develop the young minds of Taphou Kuki village and its adjoining areas and groom them for future endeavours.
The event witnessed a good number of students and youth from the village and its surrounding areas.
Lalminlen Misao Hangmi, MPS, Addl SP, Ukhrul, Dr Lalpu Haokip, MO in-charge District Hospital, Kangpokpi, Maj Krishna Singh, Post Commander, 34 AR Hengbung Post, Dr Lamtinthang Haokip, Research Officer, Manipur State Commission for ST, GOM and Tongsei Lotzem, social activist attended the event as resource persons.
Lalminlen Misao Hangmi, MPS delivered lecture on how to prepare for Civil Services Examinations and Dr Lalpu Haokip spoke on doctor as a profession and dwelt on preparation for the medical entrance examinations.
Maj Krishna Singh encouraged the young minds about joining the Indian Army as Commission Officers and spoke in detail about the preparation required and levels of entry.
Dr Lamtinthang Haokip, RO, MSCST spoke on range of topics relating to higher studies in Universities while Tongsei Lotzem delivered his speech on customs and cultures among the youths and its importance/significance.
Taphou Kuki Youth Club conveyed gratitude to all the resources persons for their altruistic contribution for the welfare of the youths and students community in the area.
