Imphal, April 01 2018:
The Rilram Area Maring Organisation (RAMO) has cautioned all the organisations, particularly Kuki UGs, not to interfere in the developmental works in Rilram Maring areas.
A press release issued by vice president of RAMO, M Tantanga stated that the developmental programmes in Rilram Maring areas are monitored by RAMO and warned any outsider from interfering into the said works.
The organisation asserted that any organisation attempts to jeopardize the works in the areas resulting in communal disharmony will be treated as against Maring tribe in particular and Nagas in general.
It said, "RAMO does not have any intention to antagonize any organisation who act within their own jurisdiction as deemed fit but it should not interfere outside its jurisdiction" while adding that any organisation who defy the appeal should bear the sole responsibility.
RAMO warned all contractors concerned, executing PMGSY works in Rilram Maring areas to complete before May, and cautioned that the organisation will be compelled to resort to any form of action if they fail to complete the work within the stipulated time.
The organisation further warned that the contractors and department concerned will bear all responsibilities of any untoward incident following the negligence of the authority concerned.
RAMO appealed the department concerned to release the fund in time as per the progress of the work while urging the work agencies or contractors concerned to take prior consent from RAMO before executing any work in its jurisdiction.
