On the death of ST William (Ningwar) Tatar(MP) of the NSCN (IM), the Khurmi Region, GPRN, today expressed deep condolence to the bereaved family members, a statement of the Central Administrative Officer, GPRN expressed today.
Stating that William was one of the brave national fighters of his time, the statement further expressed that the selfless sacrifices he had rendered for the "Naga Nation" in different stages of its freedom struggle will remained forever in the annals of the nation.
"The historic journey in the national struggle he had trodden will always bear the impression of his relentless sacrifices that would always inspire the young national workers of today and tomorrow," the statement which expressed Khurmi Region's shared to the sorrow of the bereaved family member of ST William with prayer to almighty for peace of soul stated.
The condolence message given yesterday on the funeral rites on behalf of the Longuipu (chief of army) major General Ramkhathing was recited by major RT Livingstone of NSCN(IM).
The funeral was held at the native village of William at Y Khutha village in Chakpikarong of Chandel district.
