Three books written by Dr Soibam Ibocha entitled "Angangsinga Kalamda Paohangjei (a translated version of the APJ Abdul Kalam's Children Asked), Handhokpagi Neinarol and The Game of Rugby (third edition) published by Soibam Publications were released today in a function held at Manipur Press Club, Major Khul.
The books were released by chairman of the Sahitya Akademy Advisory Board, prof Naorem Khagendra, president of the Manipur Sahitya Parishad, Nongmaithem Tombi and former member of the advisory board of the Sahitya Akademy New Delhi, prof Chongtham Manihar together.
Speaking at the releasing function, writer of the books Ibocha said he himself as literature student, he feels the eagerness of writing.
He obtained prior permission from the former president of Abdul Kalam before he translated his book.
Translation works of two more book of the former President have been finished.
They will be released at the earliest.
The book of ruby released today was the third edition of the "Game of Rugby".
The second edition of the book was released by noted film star Raj Barbar in Agra.
He wrote the book on rugby game as the same is very similar with that of indigenous game "Yubi Lakpi" .
Member of the advisory board of Sahitya Akademy, BS Rajkumar talked on the accounts of the books released today.
Mention may be made that the three books were simultaneously released in Agartala and Silcher too today.
In Agartala, these books were released at a function at a book fair currently on progress at Children Park, Agartala where a stall for books of Manipur also opened.
In Silcher, the same three books were released at a function organized by Barak Valley Yellow Passage at the house of Sagolsem Khabollon, Tarapur Manipuri Basti.
