Indian Red Cross provides relief materials

The Indian Red Cross Society, Manipur State Branch led by its chairman Dr Y Mohen Singh extended immediate support and relief materials to the fire victims of TNK village, Senapati on March 14 .
The house of D Loli was gutted to ashes on the March 13 at around 10.30 am while the family members were away for work.
It was reported that properties worth more than rupees 10 lakh were gutted due to the fire.
However, there were no casualties.
The IRCS, Senapati district branch had provided temporary shelter by providing a tent.
IRCS, lmphal West district branch provided edible items like rice, dal, potatoes and groundnuts, 10 mosquito nets, 6 blankets etc.
Benjamin Tao, secretary IRCS, Senapati district branch was also present, said a statement issued by Kangabam Ronel Singh, disaster management coordinator, 3RCS-MSB.D Loli thanked the IRCS-MSB for extending timely support and assistance to the family members, it said.
