Ukhrul, December 05 2013:
Nagaland BJP unit president Chuba Ao has on Thursday hinted on the possibility of NPF backing off from fielding candidate in the ensuing parliamentary elections in the Outer constituency of Manipur and cited its advantage to emerge as the frontrunner party.
Attending as Chief Guest of a day-long BJP political conference at Ukhrul town hall here today, Nagaland BJP unit president Chuba Ao, said quoting NPF president Dr.Shurhozelie that its party may not field candidate in the ensuing general elections in the Outer Manipur constituency provided the national party has an edge in the run up to the polls in the hills.
Chuba stated that he met the NPF President before his departure for Ukhrul and was conditionally told that "If BJP is ahead why we should put up (NPF candidate)." His statement was received with a loud applause by audiences in the packed town hall today.
Thursday's statement made by Nagaland BJP chief has put all speculation at rest that it may set an alliance with NPF in the Outer Manipur parliamentary seat.

"ADC members are made to station at Imphal, starved them and close the door to them by the state Congress government.
ADC members did not go home, MLAs seldom visit home turf, teachers do not go to school, and Doctors does not attend hospital.
How development will come in this manner? We need a change, a change for better government" he calls.
