"Outside buyers expressed desire to purchase organic produces, items from MOMA"

Imphal, January 19 2019:
Different products and items of Manipur Organic Mission Agency (MOMA) are being sold and exhibited at the Organics Millet International Trade Fair 2019 in Bengaluru, Karnataka.
The three days trade fair was inaugurated by Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy at Tripura Vasini, Palace Grounds today.
Three entrepreneurs, two farmers and two officials are taking part in the competition on behalf of MOMA.
Meanwhile, the representatives of MOMA are showcasing and selling organic fruits, items and products, grown and produced in Manipur under Mission Organic Value Chain Development for North East Region (MOVCD-NER) of the Central Government, at the fair.
It has been reported that ten buyers have expressed desire to buy black rice (Chak-hao), ghost pepper (U-morok), ginger and turmeric.
A total of 400 stalls are set up, out of which seven are from outside the State and 220 exhibitors from 16 start up firms are taking part in the trade fair.
Meanwhile, representatives of MOMA are also taking part in the B2B sessions which is a part of the fair.
