In his address as chief guest of the function, Thaisii pointed out that despite the claim of electricity connection in the villages of the hill district, he has come across that there are no power transmission line in many of the said area.
There are still many villages in the hills which are yet to get power connection and nothing can be said on when the power projects being taken up in the State would be completed and commissioned.
In such a situation, the possible accomplishment of the target of providing electricity connection to all the households by 2012 is doubtful, he said.

The agency is always ready to work for the welfare of the people, he added.
