Talking to your beloved over the mobile phone if you are not careful enough of your steps is undoubtedly dangerous and could be fatal, and this is exactly what happened to a bachelor teacher last evening.
Moirangthem Subash (27) s/o Moirangthem, Kesho of Yairipok Kakyai , a bachelor who worked as a teacher in the Winners' Academy at Lamphel Super market was coming down the steps of a ladder after talking to his girlfriend last evening when he slipped and fell down headlong.
Later he succumbed to his injuries at RIMS Hospital where he was brought for treatment.
According to report, at around 8.30 pm yesterday, Subash climbed up a 7-feet long wooden ladder placed near a water tank (sintex) atop the building and talked with his girlfriend over the mobile phone.
While coming down, he missed the steps and fell down headlong.
He was immediately rushed to RIMS casualty for treatment but succumbed to the injuries at around 3 am today.
Those who brought Subash to the hospital for treatment have complained against the alleged negligence of the attending doctors who after studying the x-ray report of the injured reportedly claimed that it as only a minor fracture and the patient can return home.
