The proprietor of the sound service used in the Thabal Chongba organised at Ibudhou Pureiromba Lampak, Arapti on April 13 has surrendered to the proscribed RPF.
The individual identified as Puyam Kanta (37) of Kakwa Selungba Leikai is the proprietor of NK Electronics.
He is also a sound service provider.
Parading Kanta before media persons at a location in valley area today, a spokesperson of the outfit's Department of Communication and Publicity stated that the RPF/PLA had appealed to all the people in advance to abstain from organising any entertainment programme on April 13 Martyrs' Day.
However, in total disregard to the appeal, Thabal Chongba was organised at Arapti on the same day.
Subsequently, the outfit asked the organisers of the Thabal Chongba programme, sound and light service providers to surrender to the outfit by April 25 .
In response to the warning, Kanta has not only surrendered to the outfit but also confessed his faults, the spokesperson said.
Stating that no harsh actions will be taken up against Kanta for he had surrendered to the outfit, the spokesperson conveyed that the sound service provider has been intimated not to accept such programmes on solemn occasions like the April 13 Martyrs' Day.
