The collective leadership of the National Socialist Council of Nagalim (NSCN (IM), Isak Chishi Swu and Th Muivah have today met Indian Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh here.
In their first meeting, the Prime Minister told the leaders of the organization that he favored a �mutually acceptable and honorable� solution to the longstanding Naga political problem.
The Prime Minister, in their 30-munute meeting, informed the two Naga leaders about his Government�s sincere effort to find an honorable way for resolving the complex Naga political issue and wanting to ensure that the people there lived a life of peace with dignity and self-respect.
Swu and Muivah also stated they were for an honorable solution and further stressed that "a solution cannot be found in violence and blood," according an official source.
The two top NSCN (IM) leaders arrived here on Sunday night from Amsterdam to meet the Indian Prime Minister and other leaders in the capital to further the ongoing political dialogues between the Government of India and the organization.
