Imphal, May 28 2021: Social worker Seram Neken visited the residences of all working journalists in Thongju Assembly Constituency today and presented packets of edible items as a form of extending help amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

There are altogether 25 working journalists in the constituency, said a statement.

It may be mentioned that Thongju A/C many renowned journalists namely Bijoy Kakchingtabam, former president of All Manipur Working Journalist Union, Ahongsangbam Mubi, editor of Tom TV, Brojendro Ningomba, editor of Mami TV, Hemanta Ningomba, editor of Sanaleibak and Sh Momo Sharma, secretary of ISTV.

S Neken also visited veteran journalist Kangujam Madhumangol Singh who is ailing for the last few months.

It may be noted that S Neken who is a member of Imphal East Zilla Parishad has been extending humanitarian service to the people especially of Thongju AC for the last few years.
