Allauddin to ask Congress tickets for Muslims in 5 A/Cs

Imphal, May 12 2011:
A one day Youth Political Conference organised by the Lilong Block Youth Congress Committee was held today at Lilong Chaobok Mairenkhun.
RD Minister Allauddin Khan said that he will be demanding Congress tickets for Muslims in at least five assembly constituencies in the forthcoming state assembly election.
The five assembly constituencies are Keirao, Kshetrigao, Andro, Wabagai and Lilong.
He said that Congress is a party which does not indulge in religious discrimination and he is sure that the party will act accordingly to his request.
The state has seen development in various sectors since the rule of the party in the state.
He also assured that every street in Lilong area will be black topped by the end of 2012 .
There was serious economic over drafts in the state during the stint of other parties.
The government then was unable to pay salaries in time.
However the situation has changed since the Congress began to rule in the state, he asserted.
In a speech, former secretary, Manipur Pradesh Youth Congress Committee Md Abdul Nashir said that it is the prime duty for every citizen to choose the right person and party who would be able to work for the welfare of the people and the state.
Congress is taking up many developmental works in different sectors in the state like no other party has ever done so during their tenures.
MP Thangso Baite, MLA Prithviraj, Ex Minister Francis Ngajokpa, secretary, Indian Youth Congress Buta Chakrabarty, retired Deputy SP Md Gayajuddin also attended the conference as presidium members.
