Imphal, May 12 2011:
Alleging irregularities in the recruitment process of Supervisor DOTs under RNTCP, Senapati district, Senapati District Students' Association (SDSA) has submitted a memorandum to Health Minister Jayantakumar to draw his attention for doing the needful.
The memorandum signed by SDSA president A Pfokhrehrii Khrasii pointed out that as per advertisement, the interview for recruitment of Supervisor DOTs under RNTCP was conducted on April 25 and only four candidates appeared, all from Senapati district.
However, when the result was declared on April 30, none of the four candidates passed the interview but for a lady by the name of L Kiran Bala Devi, who did not even apply or was present in the DPC list for Senapati district.
Setting May 20 as the deadline for intervention, the student body also warned of taking recourse to agitation in case of failure.
