Medical Education programme begins

A two days Continued Medical Education Programme organised by the Regional Research Institute Homeopathy, Imphal under the aegis of Central Council for Research in Homeopathy, Department of Ayush has begin today at the conference hall of State Guest House at Sanjenthong.
Director, JNIMS Dr S Samo, Head of Department, RIMS Paediatrics Dr Ksh Chourajit and Assistant Director Central Council for Research in Homeopathy, New Delhi Dr Jaya Gupta graced the inaugural function as chief guest, president and guest of honour.
In a speech, Dr S Samo said that JNIMS has now a 20 bedded Ayush hospitals.
State government has also begins sanctioning of Rs 50 lakhs every year for the development of Ayush in the state.
It is very important to develop such kinds of herbal treatment.
He appealed to the specialists of Regional Research Institute Homeopathy, Imphal to visit JNIMS hospital and discuss the developments of the treatment in the hospitals.
He appealed to the people of the state to cooperate with the developmental works of the only state run medical college of Mnaipur and give suggestion instead of giving pressure.
Dr Samo said that homeopathy is a kind of treatment which is as effective as allopathy.
There were many incidents when homeopathy cured ailments which allopathy could not.
Every medical practitioner should support the treatment, he urged.
