UDSSATA, SSATAK appeal for early release of salary

Ukhrul District SSA Teachers' Association (UDSSATA), Ukhrul appealed the State Govt for the release of four months pending salary before Christmas.
According to the statement of Ngalengpam R Shimray, convener UDSSATA, Ukhrul SSA teachers were burdened with non payment of four months� salary in spite of their relentless effort in educating the children in the whole academic session at their respective schools.
He said the teachers face immense hardship to manage their expenses due to non-release of their four months salary.
UDSSATA urged the Education Minister to look into the matter and sought immediate intervention in order to address the greivances of the teaching community by enhancing the necessary office procedures for release of fund in time.
Kangpokpi: Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA) Teachers' Association, Kangpokpi while extending heartiest gratitude to the State Govt and the concerned authority for timely releasing of their salary before Ningol Chakouba, also sought early release of their pending salary before Christmas.
Haobem Chongloi, President SSA Teachers' Association Kangpokpi and V Haominlun Phaltual, General Secretary said in a statement that more than 150 SSA School teachers under Kangpokpi thanked the State Govt and the concerned authority for the timely released of their salary for few months before Ningol Chakouba.
However, the plight of the teachers seems unending and urged the State Govt and the concerned authority to release their pending salary before Christmas, the statement added.
It further said that Christmas being a very important festival, they hoped that the State Govt and the concerned authority will definitely acknowledge their rightful appeal while maintaining the importance of all festival celebrated in the state without any partiality.
