Campaign to save animals to begin in state

As observed whole over the world, the World Animals Day was observed today at the conference hall of Thoubal Municipal Council by the Thoubal unit of People for Animal.
Speaking on the occasion, Managing Director, People for Animals, Thoubal Unit, L Bishwarjit said that many people are killing birds and animals even though there is law to prohibiting such acts.
As a result of these killings climatic conditions of the state is deteriorating day by day.
Asserting the need to save the wildlife and conserve the climatic condition of the state, he appealed to the people of the state to extend cooperation either in cash or kind or action and support the campaign.
He further appealed to the people to inform the association on its helpline number 9862815919, 9774860454 and 9862720777 if they found anyone harassing or killing animals and birds.
Chairperson, Thoubal Municipal Council Y Bijen and OC Thoubal Police Station Kh Dilipkumar also attended the function as presidium members.
OC Dilipkumar expressed his support to the Association in its steps for saving animals and said that he will be helping the Association whenever it needed.
