While demanding timely conduct proposed recruitment of teachers of the Autonomous Hill District Councils, the Maring Students' Union (MSU) today demanded declaration of number of teachers to be recruited.
In a statement signed by its president, TC Meinaishim, MSU also appealed the JAC for 2006 autonomous district teachers appointed parents and guardian not to disturb in the process of fresh recruitment of teachers in the interest of all people particularly Chandel District for the welfare of the education.
The statement also expressed doubt over the number of vacancies to be filled by the fresh recruitment recalling the recruitment conducted in 2006.At that time CEO Chandel notified for filling of only 44 vacant posts of primary teachers but government recruited much more than the notified vacancies.
That was the result behind
present impasses.
In the recently issued notification also the number of posts lying vacant and to be filled up from the fresh recruitment mentioned in the notification, the statement observed and demanded government to notify exact number of vacancies to be filled up for the ADC Chandel district.
MSU further all staffs concern not to take advantage of bandh and strike but to attend office.
