Implementation of 'No School Bag Day' discussed

All Manipur Recognised Private Schools' Welfare Association (AMRPSWA) organised a discussion on 'Implementation ofNo School Bag Day by State Government & its effects' at Manipur Press Club today.
AMRPSWA president Doren Khangamba, senior member of the association N Tomba and senior member Sh Shyamkishwor attended the discussion as presidium members.
AMRPSWA secretary W Surjit said that the discussion aims to shed light on the State Government's declaration of "No School Day" on all working Saturdays for Government, aided and private schools (From classes I to VIII) on September last year.
Claiming that the initiative/programme has not been properly implemented, he continued that the discussion aims to adopt necessary measures so that the programme is carried out effectively this year.
Parents were happy to see the No School Day initiative getting enforced on September 7, he noted.
Saying that what the State Government did was a commendable initiative, he stressed on the need to explore activities to make the implementation of No School Day even better.
