CADA conducts academic awareness campaign

With an aim to curb the menace of drugs and substance abuse from the State, Coalition Against Drugs and Alcohol (CADA) organised today an academic awareness campaign at Laphupat Tera High School on "Impact of drugs and substance abuse on students".
Salam Kuladhaja, Head Master, Laphupat Tera High School, Hijam Priyokumar, president CADA and Ningthoujam Doren, vice president CADA attended the programme as presidium members.
Speaking as the resource persons, CADA's secretary general Geetchandra Mangang stated that numbers of students who used drugs and substance abuse as a glamour/fashion are increasing day by day in the State.
Saying that drugs or substance abuse have the very potential to ruin the lives of many students and society as a whole, he appealed all the students to channel their energy on studies and focus on making the State a better place to live.
