SP Tengnoupal holds COVID-19 review meeting at Moreh

Tengnoupal, April 29 2021:
In a bid to assess and control the recent surge of positive cases in the second wave of COVID-19 pandemic, Superintendent of Police, Tengnoupal convened a meeting in the conference hall of Moreh Police IB today.
The meeting was attended by SDO Moreh, Dinesh; ASP (LO), Sangboi Gangte; OC Moreh police station, Dilip Kumar; CDO Moreh OC, Robindro along with the representatives of Meetei Council Moreh, All Community Development Organization Moreh, Gorkha Samaj, Tamil Sangam Moreh, Manipuri Muslim Council Moreh, Hill Tribal Council, KSO Moreh block and Kuki Women Union & Human Right Moreh block.
The meeting deliberated on the matters including the spread of COVID-19 awareness to the public and the shopkeepers and maintaining all the SOPs mandated by the Government including wearing face masks, social distance, etc.
The compulsory use of masks was stressed upon and it was stated that the administration would invariably impose fine on the citizens for not adhering to the norms laid by the government.
During the meeting, the community leaders also agreed to join hands in the fight against the dreaded COVID-19 pandemic.
Later, the representatives of the CSOs along with SP Tengnoupal also visited different places including Moreh Keithel to spread awareness on Covid appropriate behaviour and distributed face masks to the public.
