Taking serious note of the deteriorating law and order situation and the high rate of school drop-outs in Churachandpur district, the KSO Churachandpur district would be undertaking an inspection drive of schools located in the district, informed a KSO release.
The student body observed that while enrolment in Government schools has been dramatically reduced, enrolment in private schools has shot up tremendously which only reflects the deplorable status of the education system being followed in the State.
Systematisation of corrupt practices in educational institutions extensively would cost an irreparable damage to the society if not checked without any further delay, noted the KSO.
All the teaching and non-teaching staff belonging to 25 High Schools and 39 JB Schools under the ZEO Churachandpur would be covered during the proposed inspection drive, it said while appealing to all staff concerned to cooperate with the inspection team and to join their respective place of postings as per ZEO's directives.
A memorandum in this regard will be submitted to the Minister of Education and also a copy to the Commissioner, Education, added the release.
