Following assurance by the Education Minister, the All Manipur Recognised Private Schools' Welfare Association has withdrawn its earlier stand to observe holiday on August 8 .
The Association, in a statement, informed all concerned to carry on normal classes on August 8 .
The statement said that representatives of AMRPSWA held a meeting with the Education Minister today at his office chamber to discuss the dispute over the Manipur Private School (Registration and Regulation) Bill 2012 .
The Minister reportedly told the association's representatives that recognised private schools need not apply for fresh recognition under the Bill.
The Minister also assured to include representatives from the Association when the rules in the Bill are formulated, the statement said.
