The results of the final semester exam were out on July 19, 2013 .
When the troubled students inquired the matter with their college authority, they were told that they did not get through one subject each in the fourth semester exam, Thoithoi said.
The MU authority later confirmed them that they passed the exam, but they were denied admission to the varsity by the Examination Controller despite the problem was brought up to his knowledge, the DESAM leader added.
He said the DESAM takes this incident very seriously and mentioned that the MU had in the past too had made such mistakes.
The higher authority of the varsity should immediately look into the matter and take action against the erred officials otherwise DESAM will take up agitation, Thoithoi warned.
