RAT rate revised

The State Government has revised the testing charges of Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) at the Government facilities/testing centre and private healthcare facilities.
According to an office memorandum signed by Director of Health Services, Dr K Rajo Singh, the rate of RAT test has been revised to Rs 160 per test at Government facilities/centres and Rs 350 at private health care facilities.
The charges for other test modalities remain unchanged according to the office memo.
The facilities have also been instructed not to hike the charge and enforce the same after exhausting the previous RAT kits procured from the Health Directorate at the earlier rate.
Saying that charges at which RAT kits that are supplied to private healthcare facilities from the Directorate have been revised, it appealed to all concerned to enquire the details from the Directorate during the office hours.
