KSA and AMSU condemn private educational institutes

The Kangleipak Students' Association (KSA) and All Manipur Students' Union (AMSU) have appealed to the Government to take action against those private educational institutes that has broken the SOP issued by the Government.
In two separate statements, the two bodies informed that they came across some private institutes that had started online admission process for class XI immediately after the exams conducted by BOSEM was over, thereby breaking the SOP of the Government.
Further, the selection process was also found to be biased and done on the basis of first come first serve, which is not in the interest of the students, they said.
KSA and AMSU have strongly condemned these institutions, in particular Herbert School, Changangei and has asked the school to issue a public clarification in this regard.
The associations also cautioned other private educational institutes saying that it will take up strong actions against them if found conducting such activities or breaking the SOP.
They also appealed the Government to take up actions against them.
