Motorcycle expedition reaches Imphal

Imphal, April 11 2022:
The Army Medical Corps' motorcycle expedition which began from National War Memorial, Delhi reached Mantripukhri Garrison on April 11 after covering a distance of nearly 2700 km.
The expedition team comprised 8 officers and 2 non-commissioned officers, said a statement of IGAR(S) .
The expedition team also felicitated the Frontline Warriors at RIMS Imphal and paid their homage to Freedom Fighters at INA Museum, Moirang.
It may be mentioned that the motorcycle expedition was organised by Army Medical Corps to commemorate its 258th Raising Day and celebrate Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.
The rally will cover 12 States including 7 North East States of India, visiting more than 75 Army & Civil medical establishments to motivate the doctors and paramedics.
The expedition also aims to honour the frontline warriors in the fight against Covid who provides critical medical support in-keeping with the ethos of 'Shoulders behind Soldiers" .
