Football club team members feted at Saikul

Sadar Hills, September 10 2016:
Team members of FC REPEAT, Saikul, who have recently won the 1st (L) Shivsagar Memorial Veterans Tournament, 2014 held at Darjeeling, have been feted at a reception function held at Saikul hill town today.
The occasion was attended by Tonglet Chongloi as chief guest while Member of ADC Sadar Hills Paotinlun Chongloi, Thangkam Lupheng and former International footballer Manglenthang Zou as presidium members.
The name of FC REPEAT has now been changed as Saikul United Veteran Football Club.
The declaration of the change of FC REPEAT, Saikul to a new name Saikul United Veteran Football Club was made by the club manager in the presence of the chief guest and presidium members while giving his keynote address in the event.

The team members were feted with gifts.
Manglen-thang Zou was honoured with a memento and a traditional shawl for his contribution as a coach of the club.
Meanwhile, a friendly match between FC Repeat [now SUV FC] and Eimi Veterans FC was played at Saikul playground.
The Eimi Veterans won the match by 2 goals.
The prize money earned from the match was donated to Zion Orphanage Home, Saikul.
