Campaign for anti Chaoba continues

The campaign for removal of BJP State unit president Th Chaoba Singh is likely to get a new impetus with the the Lamlai Mandal BJP president Ningombam Muhindro Singh preparation for a trip to New Delhi for a meeting with the BJP national President.
While expressing their resentment against the State BJP President in a press meet held today at Manipur Press Club, the president of the Lamlai Mandal BJP president decried violation of party constitution by the State President Th Choaba Singh.
He alleged that Th Chaoba has enrolled new recruits in the BJP Lamlai Mandal without consulting and giving prior information to local Mandal.
He conveyed that they have been bearing with the autocratic style of administration in the interest of the party since Th Choaba assumed the post of party president and added that they can no longer tolerate Chaoba's autocracy.
During the press meet, the vice-president of the BJP Yuba Morcha Mongjam Poireihanba declared that BJP Lamlai Mandal has boycotted Th Chaoba Singh announcing that he will visit Delhi to mount the campaign against Th Chaoba.
The secretary of the BJP Lamlai Mandal M Shyamkishore Singh also attended the press meet.
He mentioned that a resolution was taken on May 30 held in connection with the last parliamentary election.
According to the resolution, Shyamkishore cited that permission should be sought from Lamlai A/C in case new recruits be made from the said A/C.He further decried that Th Chaoba has violated the resolution.
The new recruit is a man who defected from Trinamool Congress recently, he added.
