The Kuki Inpi Manipur (KIM) has conveyed heartfelt greetings to all the people of Manipur ahead of the Christmas and the New Year.
KIM observed that with with the coming of Christmas and the New Year, the people of Manipur should shed their differences and narrow mindsets in order to promote communal harmony and development in the State.
It sought better cooperation and relationship for peace in the State from AMUCO, UNC, UCM, Apunba Lup as the people had suffered mutual strife for long enough.
Wishing a merry Christmas and a happy New Year to all the people of Manipur, the KSO GHqs has extended special Christmas and New Year greetings to its sister organisations, AMSU, ATSUM and ANSAM.
It prayed that the Christmas and the New Year may bring joy and gaiety to all the people of Manipur .
Praying that the Christmas and the New Year may herald peace and integrity among the people of Manipur, the All Manipur Christian Organisation has appealed to all the organisations not to call bandhs, or strikes during Dec 24 to January 1.The National Identity Protection Committee has also extended best wishes ahead of the Christmas and New Year praying that these festivals may bring peace, and equitable development among all the indigenous peoples .
Extending its best wishes to the Christian community of the State ahead of the Christmas, UCM wished that peace and harmony may reign in Manipur.
MPCC president Gaikhangam and MP T Meinya have greeted the people ahead of Christmas.
