The All Naga Students Association, Manipur (ANSAM) has strongly denounced the abduction of two minor boys by some unidentified persons on December 14 from Senapati district headquarters.
ANSAM said termed the act as absurd, barbaric, non-sensical, irrationally inhuman and devilish.
The Naga students body demanded that the culprits who have committed such crime should not be let go scot free but arrest them and award befitting punishment.
ANSAM then expresses its profound sympathy to the families of the two children and pledged its co-operation to the victims families.
It demanded that the two abducted children be freed at the earliest to avoid any unwanted 'chain reaction'.
Meanwhile in separate statements Senapati Notified Area Memei Union and Youth Organisation, Ekhamei Students' Union and Senapati District Drivers' Welfare Union have appealed to the abductors to release the two kids at the earliest.
SNAMU and ESU in a joint meeting urged the kidnappers of to release the two innocent kids from their captives and called on all communities to live in peace and harmony where history and past evils deeds and actions should not be repeated but shun and forgotten.
It also appeal to all individuals and intellectuals to help in rescuing the two innocent kids.
Urging the captors to release the two kids on humanitarian ground, SDDWU demanded that they should be released before Christmas.
