Imphal, December 10 2010:
Endorsing the boycott call, All Zeliangrong Students' Union (Assam, Manipur & Nagaland) has announced that it will not welcome the Chief Minister and His Cabinet Ministers at the Orange Festival to be held at Tamenglong district headquarters, reports our Jiribam correspondent.
The student body has charged the CM of being anti-tribal 'who has fooled the tribal populace of the State with setting up of toothless ADC in the hill districts, and said that it will not benefit the tribal people in any sense.
The student body further said that it is not against the Orange festival as such.
But the presence of the CM at may incite unwanted incident for which the Govt should be wholly responsible.
