New executive members of Senapati District Students' Assn appointed

Senapati, July 14 2020:
Officially bringing an end to the term of Hopeson Kaikho Mao as president of the Senapati District Students Association (SDSA), the change of guard and file handing over program for the new tenure of the apex student body of the district was held at NPO conference hall in Senapati.
The function was attended by the 5 units of SDSA namely the Mao Students Union (MSU), Maram Students Union (MKS), Poumai Naga Students Union (PNTM), Thangal Students Union (TAJ) and the Zeliangrong Students Union (ZSU) Senapati alongwith the tribunal members of the students body, officials of the NPO and SDWA delegates.
The outgoing president, Hopeson Kaikho Mao expressed gratitude to all the senior leaders of the student body and officials of the NPO and SDWA for their cooperation in during his tenure as the president of the district apex student body.
While wishing the best of luck to the outgoing team of the student body, the president of the Naga People's Organization, Solomon Arow heartily welcomed the new executives of the student body and urged them to work together for safety and betterment of all.
The new president of the student body, Pung Mark acknowledged the works done by his predecessor in the interest of the district student's community.
The new student leader assured to debate the differences with honesty and appealed to all for their support.
Pung Mark also assured to work for betterment of all in the district and in their interest, with support and cooperation from all.
The oath of secrecy was administered by Luikang Luckson, speaker assembly affairs of the association to the following persons: Pung Mark as president, Heutwalung James as vice president, Y K Katei-ng as the general secretary, Yonuo Peter as asst general secretary, A Soloni Tony as finance secretary, L Maningba as education & statistics secretary, P Lokho Kayina as social & culture secretary and S A Ngampam as information & publicity secretary while S Halounii Khana as assembly speaker and Datung Jacob Khangba as assembly secretary in the assembly affairs.
