Imphal, July 16 2016 :
Asserting that the forthcoming Manipur Legislative Assembly election would be a decisive battle between BJP and Congress, Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) State unit has called upon the youth of the State to work responsibly.
Newly elected BJYM State unit president P Somorjit and Kh Nabakumar who has been elected BJP State unit, Kishan Morcha president were felicitated today at Wangoo Sabal Mandop.
Speaking at the felicitation function, P Somorjit said that the forthcoming State Assembly election would witness pitched battles between Congress and BJP.
BJP need to understand Congress party's election strategy and devise its own counter strategy.
For this, young BJP workers and supporters should be ready to shoulder their responsibilities.
Claiming that BJP is a ideology-based political party, Somorjit said that the party has been looking dynamic leaders who can work with a vision in line with the people's sentiments and aspirations.
People of Manipur, after analysing all the schemes launched by Prime Minister Narendra for welfare of the masses, would certainly elect competent BJP MLAs in all Assembly segments including Kumbi AC.
Somorjit exuded.
BJP has started rectifying all the wrongdoings committed under the prolonged Congress rule.
Although Congress party has been ruling Manipur for almost 15 years continuously, a large number of the State's population still have no access to potable water and reliable power supply.
Transport infrastructure has seen little improvement, Somorjit said.
Kh Nabakumar said that some people have been wrongly assuming that the party's ticket would be given some one else as he has been appointed Kishan Morcha president.
Allotment of tickets would be done by central leaders and they have been paying special emphasis to youth.
People need not worry about party ticket, he said.
He further pledged to work relentlessly in order to usher in green revolution in Manipur in his capacity as the president of BJP State unit Kishan Morcha president.
