HRD Min flags off minivans

Imphal, February 13 2017:
Union HRD Minister Prakash Javadekar today flagged off 20 minivans installed with audio-visual devices to be used for canvassing for the forthcoming State Legislative Assembly election to be held on March 4 and 8 .
The minivans displaying slogan "BJP Government will come, changes will come" were flagged off by the Union Minister from the office of BJP State unit at Nityaipat Chuthek.
Speaking to media persons, Javadekar said that a 17-minute long video film depicting sufferings faced by the people during 15 years rule of Congress Government will be screened.
He further said that the film also depicts the rampant corruption, frequent bandh and blockade and failure of the Congress Government to implement development programmes.
He asserted that the film was produced after going through an in-depth research.
He added that slogans "Bandh free, blockade free, corruption free Manipur", "Manipur would be ahead in every field" etc will be used to sensitise the public.
The 20 minivans will tour all the 60 Assembly Constituencies.
For this, permission from the authority concerned has been obtained, he informed.
The Union Minister expressed hope that public would appreciate the step taken up by BJP.
