PREPAK (Pro) vows to intensify movement

Imphal, October 08 2012:
The armed outfit PREPAK (Pro) has pledged to intensify the liberation movement by launching renewed offensive against the military as well as the local security forces, said a press statement issued by the outfit's Chairman Paliba M in connection with the outfit's 35th raising day.
It also paid respects to all the people who have suffered and/or sacrificed their lives in the course of the revolutionary movement, and greeted all the member parties of CorCom as well as all revolutionary parties of Western South East Asia (WESEA) .
Making a scathing attack against the Indian military as well as the police commandos, the Chairman compared these security forces to the drug cartels and Italian mafias, and further remarked that they have no remorse in killing parents right in front of their small kids and shooting pregnant women.
These trigger-happy forces who do not respect human rights are the biggest enemies of the mass, alleged the outfit further.
Reacting to the oft-repeated call by Chief Minister O Ibobi and Governor Gurbachan Jagat for dialogue, the Chairman asserted that the Government of India must first understand and admit that it ought to restore the sovereignty of Manipur which it allegedly annexed through treachery and coercion.
Until and unless India realise that the relationship between India and Manipur should be nothing less than diplomatic relations between two independent countries based on bilateral agreement, the call for dialogue is meaningless.
By deploying a huge military force, the Government of India is following a policy which is akin to former US President Theodore Roosevelt's saying "speak softly and a carry a big stick" .
Alleging that the Indian military is wearing a mask of 'soft power', the outfit called upon all the people not to be taken in by their military civic action programme.
It is logic defying if one is thinking that the Government of India or its military would work for development/welfare of the people of Manipur (Kangleipak) who are different in terms of race, culture, traditions, appearance and historicity from mainland Indians when a multitude of Indians are languishing in utter poverty.
In the name of MCA programmes and surrender dramas, top brass of the Indian military have been swindling huge amounts of fund sanctioned by the Government of India after looting the money from the poor mass of India.
"Operation Good Samaritan" or MCA programme has a hidden agenda to build up a 'fifth column' by grooming secret spies and traitors, it alleged.
