Despite backlog on utilization of the current financial year's Plan allocation, the Planning Commission has reportedly asked State authorities to prepare and submit details for plan size of the next fiscal in the latter part of November or January next.
Only 10 percent from the total outlay of Rs 1374.31 crore for the current fiscal could be utilised by the State Government so far.
According to informed source, the Planning Commission has advised State officials concerned to propose 10 percent hike for the 2008-09 fiscal from the Central Assistance amount received this fiscal.
A meeting between the Chief Minister and Chairman of Planning Commission Montek Singh Ahluwalia has been tentatively scheduled for Jan next to discuss on the State Plan Size.
