MAYO organises felicitation programme

The Mayangkhang Area Youth Organization (MAYO) in collaboration with Satyam Industry, Taphou organised its 7th felicitation cum area students meet 2019 at M Ningthoupham Village community hall.
The programme was attended by Sanjay Sharma, Managing Director, Satyam Industry as the special guest with Brig Ravroop Singh, 59 Mt Brigade, Senapati and Major Krishna, Commander, COB, 34 Assam Rifles, Hengbung Post as special guests in the presence of area leaders, student leaders and parents/guardians of the successful candidates.

James Kelly, president, MAYO gave welcome and keynote address at the beginning of the programme.
Lenkhomang Chongloi, founder of the felicitation, explained the concept of the programme while stating that it was organised to boost the motivation of the students as well as guide them in their higher studies too.
He reminded that all students may not become officers but all officers were once a student and advised the passed out students to give maximum hard work in achieving their goals one day.
Brig Ravroop Singh, while congratulating the successful candidates of class X & XII, lauded the organizers for taking up such programmes in order to encourage them even in their future studies.
Major Krishna recalled his past life as a student while urging the students to set a goal as they begin their studies.
He asked all young learners to work hard in order to achieve their dream.
The Hengbung Post Commander also assured to provide any assistance and guide whenever the students of the area require any time.
Special prayer for the successful candidates was taken up by Rev Kadeikeimi Phungshim.
70 students who passed out in class X (Matric) exams and 56 students who passed out from State CBSE, Central and from other States were felicitated during the program.
