KSO-SH draws Govt attention on NH-2

Kuki Students' Organisation Sadar Hills has today drawn the attention of the state Govt over the dilapidated condition of National Highway 2 which serves as the life line of the State at the earliest.
The student body president Thangminlen Kipgen said considering the news report on the dilapidated condition of the highway a team of KSO-SH today paid a spot inspection of the highway within Sadar Hills and found it to be really a threat not only to the people of Sadar Hills but to the entire populace in a way or others.
"We are not satisfied with the present condition of the highway since the most deplorable part of the road is within Sadar Hills", asserted Thangminlen Kipgen asking the State Govt and the concerned authority that if the same road from Sekmai to Imphal can be made well enough and maintain quality why not within Sadar Hills? .
The student leader further maintained that once again the O Ibobi led SPF State Govt is trying to prove its discriminate attitude governance.
"Mainly due to the deteriorating condition of the road many lives have been lost and multiple vehicles met with various road mishap frequently along the highway particularly within Sadar Hills", pointed out KSO, Sadar Hills president adding that if the State Govt is really a non communal Govt, undiscriminate and having equal concern to its denizens the most important road link might have developed long time ago.
The student body urged the State Govt and the concerned authority to take notice of the bad condition of the highway and immediately repair the dilapidated condition section of the road.
The student body will resort to any effective measures in future if the Govt fails to notice the dilapidated road condition of National Highway 2 due to administrative apathy, warned KSO Sadar Hills.
