Transporters and travellers are doing at their life-risk while travelling to and fro along the National Highway 39 as the road condition from Maram to Mao Gate is extremely in pathetic shape.
When Newmai News Network team carried out a surveyed today, it found out that the condition of the road between Maram and Mao Gate is in a terrible shape providing untold miseries to the transporters and passengers alike.
Even though the road condition of the Mao area which was seriously affected by the landslide has improved considerably, the road condition between Maram and Mao Gate have been giving immense hardship to the transporters and that the passengers/travellers have been passing this part of the NH-39 with a feeling of fear and insecurity.
Tourist buses and other heavy vehicles are finding it very hard to pass each other due to the narrowness conditions of the road.
The drivers are also forced to stop for a minute or two looking for a spot to give side to the other vehcile coming from the opposite direction.
Appreciably skill drivers can only manovre the road.
Instances of vehicle getting stucked on the road-side�s muddy drain or loaded vehicles turning turtle due to the narrowness of the road are some of the incidents that rae being witnessed on a daily basis on the said route.
In some parts of the NH-39, transporters have to stand still for several minutes waiting for a long beeline/tail of vehicles coming from opposite direction to pass through.
