All Manipur Recognised Private Schools' Welfare Association has warned of launching series of intense agitations if the BOSEM authority fails to revoke the derecognition order of Deligent Public School, Moirang within seven days.
Speaking to reporters today at the Manipur Press Club, Secretary of All Manipur Recognised Private Schools' Welfare Association, N Shanta strongly denounced the derecognition order issued by the BOSEM against member school Deligent Public School.
Alleging the BOSEM as indulging in various acts that could effect the students' and teachers' communities, Shanta charged that BOSEM also indulged in collection of unnecessary fees from private schools.
He said, Deligent Public School was appended recognition by the BOSEM in 2007.The school sent out its HSLC candidates since 2009.Surprisingly, the BOSEM, in an order issued by its secretary, has abruptly derecognised the school on March 17 without any prior information.
Shanta maintained that the move of the BOSEM was a challenge to the students' community.
He warned that if the BOSEM authority fails to comply with the demand of revocation of the order within seven days, the association would launch intense agitations including bandh and blockade.
The association also conveyed that private teachers would not evaluate papers of HSLC students.
It also decided not to entertain private centres of HSLC Old Course exam in July-August at private schools.
