Hubby catches man who tries to rape spouse

A man with long history of disastrous marriage was caught red-handed while trying to rape a married woman who just had a child at New Lamka yesterday, said a source.
The twenty-year-old woman was reportedly alone at her house when the incident occurred yesterday afternoon.
As she was a physically challenged person with walking problem, her four-month-old child was taken for regular immunization by her mother-in-law.
Her husband had left home to repair the electric connection of one Genzamung, 43 who lives in the neighbourhood.
According to local media reports, as the house where the husband had gone to repair the electric connection was locked, he headed back home only to hear the scream of his wife.
When he rushed inside he found that the man who had called him for repairing works was trying to rape his wife.
He immediately intervened, held him and beat him up.
Genzamung, the man who attempted to rape the woman was later handed over to local organisations who instructed both the families to settle the issue as per customary laws.
Having already endured two failed marriage, Genzamung is said to have raised a child with his third wife.
It is also worth mentioning here that a nursing student on-duty at the District Hospital was sexually molested by a man on the night of Wednesday last.
Though both the families were reluctant in divulging details about the incident and the aftermath settlement, reliable sources said the incident occurred at the toilet apartment.
It was said that the student upon alighting from the toilet saw the man starkly exposed in front of her.
She had immediately screamed for help and was res cued without much episode.
